10/31/18: Bankruptcy: Understanding the Basics
In this session, we will explore the factors the client must consider when deciding to file a bankruptcy, the timing of the filing and whether to file a 7 or 13. What goals will a chapter 7 vs 13 achieve? It is very important for the client to understand the consequences of the filings, particularly as it relates to the client’s ability to keep certain assets.

11/07/18: Bankruptcy Schedules
In this session, we will review the bankruptcy schedules. We will discuss what each schedule should and should not include. We will discuss strategies to be sure you get the most accurate and complete information from your client.

11/14/18: Bankruptcy: Protecting Assets
In this session, we will discuss protecting and exempting assets. We will explore various ways to maximize the assets that your client can keep, what requirements are needed in order to keep certain assets and what to do when a client is interested in releasing an asset.

11/28/18: Bankruptcy: Confirmation and Beyond
In this session, we will discuss things that occur after the bankruptcy petition has been filed. We will discuss the 341 meetings, how to deal with objections to confirmation, tax issues and common motions in bankruptcy proceedings.
